Whisker Noir is a premium tarot deck on Zorynthia drawn like a still from a 1940s black-and-white detective film, with every role played by a cat. The characters wear trench coats and fedoras, rain falls over a city skyline, and the only color on the cards is a deep crimson. The deck is complete at 78 cards: the 22 Major Arcana and the 56 Minor Arcana in four suits, all with their classic names and numbers.
Whisker Noir is part of the Arcana Pass subscription at €11.99 a month; without it you can only preview the cards. Subscribers choose for each reading whether to draw from the 22 Major Arcana alone or from the whole deck. The style sets the mood but not the message: Zorynthia's AI reads each card by its traditional meaning in the context of your question and never looks at the artwork. Readings are for entertainment and reflection, not forecasts.
What does Whisker Noir look like?
The art is drawn in charcoal and graphite grays with hard light and deep shadow. Red appears only where it counts: a rose on wet cobblestones, a crescent moon, a necktie, a cocktail. The black art deco frame has crimson inlay, paw prints in the corners and smoke curling from cigarettes on the edges. The numeral sits in a red medallion at the top, the title in pale capitals at the bottom.
The Minor Arcana have their own props: Cups are cocktail glasses of crimson liquor, Wands are walking canes, Swords are daggers and swords, and Pentacles are crimson pentagram coins, with a casino chip as the suit emblem. Death is a cat-eared skeleton with a scythe; The Devil is a horned black cat ruling over a smoky bar.
Who will enjoy Whisker Noir?
Whisker Noir is made for people who like cats, old crime films and art deco design. The late-night investigation mood suits questions about situations that feel murky: what lies behind someone's behavior, who to trust at work, how to handle a conversation you are dreading. The full 78 cards help if you want more granular readings, because the Minor Arcana speak to everyday matters rather than only the big themes.
In fairness, the deck is dark and rainy from start to finish. If you want bright, cheerful pictures, one of the free decks will feel better. The moody art does not make the answers grimmer either: the interpretation follows the meanings of the cards, not the lighting of the illustrations.
How do you read with Whisker Noir on Zorynthia?
Whisker Noir requires Arcana Pass: €11.99 a month for 150 tokens every month, the six premium decks, and free weekly and monthly horoscopes. Token packs, even the 100-token one, do not include premium decks, and without a subscription the deck is preview-only.
With Arcana Pass active, type your question, pick a category and Whisker Noir, then choose between the 22 Major Arcana and the full 78 cards. Three cards land in a past, present and future spread; the AI interprets each one against your question and writes a summary that appears live on screen. You can draw up to two extra cards for 1 token each, and the reading is saved to your history. The noir artwork leaves every traditional meaning untouched.

Whisker Noir: frequently asked questions
How much does Whisker Noir cost?
Whisker Noir is included in Arcana Pass, which costs €11.99 a month. The subscription also gives 150 tokens every month, all six premium decks, and free weekly and monthly horoscopes. Token packs such as 10 tokens for €1.69 do not give access to Whisker Noir; without Arcana Pass the deck can only be previewed.
How many cards are in Whisker Noir?
Whisker Noir has the full 78 cards: 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana in the suits of Cups, Wands, Swords and Pentacles, with classic names and numbering. For each reading an Arcana Pass subscriber chooses whether to draw from the Major Arcana only or from the whole deck. Either way, the spread uses three cards.
Is Whisker Noir different from the Rider–Waite–Smith deck?
Only in its look. Whisker Noir follows the Rider–Waite–Smith structure of 78 cards with the same names and numbers, and Zorynthia's AI interprets each card by its traditional meaning without analyzing the image. The cocktail glass on Whisker Noir's Ace of Cups means what the classic chalice means: new feelings and an emotional beginning.
Is Whisker Noir a tarot deck with cats?
Yes. In Whisker Noir every figure from classic tarot is a cat. The Fool is a black cat in a trench coat on the edge of a rainy rooftop with a kitten at his heels, The High Priestess is a gray cat in a veil between two pillars, and Death is a skeleton with cat ears and a tail. On the Aces, a cat's paw holds the suit symbol.
