Glitch Arcana is a cyberpunk tarot deck in synthwave neon, drawn as if seen on a monitor with a failing signal. Zorynthia, the web app where AI interprets tarot and astrology readings, offers it as one of six premium decks, complete with all 78 cards: 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana. People wear visors, implants and chrome armour, the horses and dogs are robots, and behind them a striped retro sun sets over a wireframe grid and a city skyline.

Under the neon, the cards mean what they have always meant. The Lovers are still about choice and connection, and the Ten of Swords still marks a painful ending, chrome or not. Glitch Arcana is part of the Arcana Pass subscription (€11.99 a month); non-subscribers can browse it but not read with it. It is made for people who like cyberpunk, 1980s retro-futurism, games and electronic music, and who want tarot imagery from their own century rather than from an old print.

What does Glitch Arcana look like?

Each card has a near-black background crossed by scan lines and glitch slices that split into cyan and magenta, like a damaged video frame. The border is a glowing double line, magenta outside and cyan inside, with circuit-board traces and tiny digital runes in the top corners. Numerals and titles are white geometric capitals with a soft glow.

The palette is pink, cyan, purple and magenta, with a chrome, holographic sheen on armour. Death rides a chrome robot horse while a fallen crown dissolves into pixels. Cups are chrome goblets of glowing liquid, Wands are staffs wrapped in neon tubing, Swords have plasma-lit edges and Pentacles are holographic star coins. The back is a glitched skull inside an inverted neon triangle, amid circuit lines and binary code.

Who is Glitch Arcana for?

Glitch Arcana is for people at home in cyberpunk: fans of neon city fiction, synthwave and 1980s retro-futurism, gamers, and anyone who spends the working day in front of a screen. Because the figures look like residents of a near-future city, it is easy to connect the cards to modern situations: remote work, relationships carried on through phones, too much information and too little rest.

Its mood suits questions about change, risk, career moves and new projects, though it works in any category since only the images change. If you like neon but prefer organic shapes to chrome, look at the free Fungal Trip deck. Like every reading on Zorynthia, a Glitch Arcana spread is for entertainment and reflection, not a forecast.

How do you read with Glitch Arcana on Zorynthia?

Glitch Arcana opens once Arcana Pass is active. Write your question, choose a category (love, career, finance, spirituality or general), then choose Glitch Arcana and the card pool: the 22 Major Arcana alone or the full 78-card deck. The pool is set per reading, so you can switch whenever you like.

Zorynthia draws three cards at random for a past, present and future spread. The AI explains each card with your question in mind and closes with a summary, with the text appearing on screen as it is written. If something needs clarifying, draw one or two more cards for 1 token each. Finished readings stay in your history. The AI works from each card's traditional meaning; it never looks at the neon artwork.

Glitch Arcana: frequently asked questions

How much does Glitch Arcana cost?

Glitch Arcana is included in Arcana Pass, which costs €11.99 a month. The subscription adds 150 tokens every month, all six premium decks and free weekly and monthly horoscopes. Token packs, from €1.69 for 10 tokens, pay for readings only and do not give access to Glitch Arcana or any other premium deck.

How many cards does Glitch Arcana have?

Glitch Arcana is a full 78-card deck. It has 22 Major Arcana, from The Fool (0) to The World (XXI), and 56 Minor Arcana in four suits: Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles. Each suit runs from Ace to Ten and adds four court cards: Page, Knight, Queen and King.

Is Glitch Arcana read differently from a Rider–Waite–Smith deck?

No. Glitch Arcana uses the same card names, numbering and traditional meanings as the Rider–Waite–Smith deck. Only the scenery changes, from knights and fields to chrome armour, robots and a neon city. The AI interprets each card by its meaning alone and does not see the illustration, so a Glitch Arcana reading works exactly as it would with a classic deck.

Is Glitch Arcana a good deck for cyberpunk fans?

For the look, yes. Glitch Arcana combines synthwave neon, chrome cyborgs, robot animals and video-glitch effects on every card. If you prefer hand-painted 1990s science fiction anime to neon chrome, Zorynthia's Neon Drift deck is the closer match. Either way, the meanings underneath are classic tarot, interpreted by AI in the context of your question.
