Misty Bloom is a tarot deck painted in loose pastel watercolor, mostly lavender, blush pink, mint and pale yellow, inside a thin rose-gold art nouveau border of vines and flower buds. It is one of the six free decks in Zorynthia, a web app for AI tarot readings, and it includes the 22 Major Arcana. Every account can use it, free accounts included.

The compositions follow the classic tarot scenes, but the mood is gentle. The Fool is a young woman in a lilac dress dancing at the cliff edge, Death rides through a meadow full of flowers, and The Tower looks like a fairy-tale castle caught in a violet storm. Butterflies drift across almost every card. The softness stays in the paint: the AI reads each card by its traditional meaning, so The Tower in Misty Bloom still points to sudden upheaval, not a calm afternoon.

What does Misty Bloom look like?

Misty Bloom is painted wet-on-wet: colors bleed into each other at the edges, skies dissolve into washes of lavender, pink and mint, and the backgrounds fade into hills and mist. A fine rose-gold line forms the border, with art nouveau tendrils and buds curling into the corners. The Roman numeral sits at the top and the card name, in thin capitals, on a pale strip below the picture.

Butterflies, roses and lilies recur throughout. Faces are calm, and even The Devil, bat-winged on his pedestal, is painted in muted plum. The Sun shows a smiling sun over a child in a flower crown riding a white horse among sunflowers. The card back is a pastel mandala of flowers, butterflies and crescent moons.

Who is Misty Bloom for?

Misty Bloom tends to suit people who find traditional tarot art stern or unsettling and would rather look at something calm. The pastel palette fits questions about relationships, feelings, rest and self-care, and it pairs naturally with the love and spirituality categories. It is a deck for thinking a situation through slowly rather than for blunt verdicts.

The gentleness is only visual. Death still speaks of an ending, The Devil of attachment and restriction, The Tower of disruption. On Zorynthia, tarot is entertainment and a prompt for self-reflection; it does not predict what will happen and is no substitute for professional advice, however soft the cards look.

How do you do a reading with Misty Bloom?

Sign up and your account starts with 5 free tokens, with no card details asked. Each reading costs one token. Write your question, pick a category such as love or spirituality, and choose Misty Bloom from the deck list. Three cards are drawn at random from the 22 Major Arcana and placed as past, present and future.

The AI explains each card in light of your question and finishes with a summary, all streamed live. To go further you can add up to two extra cards at 1 token each, and the finished reading stays in your history. The interpretation comes from each card's traditional meaning, not from the watercolor on screen.

Misty Bloom: frequently asked questions

Is Misty Bloom a free tarot deck?

Yes. Misty Bloom is one of Zorynthia's six free decks, open to every account without Arcana Pass. Only the reading itself costs anything: 1 token. New accounts get 5 tokens with no payment card, and if you want more later, token packs start at 10 tokens for €1.69, with 50 tokens for €5.99.

How many cards does Misty Bloom have?

Misty Bloom has 22 cards, the full Major Arcana from The Fool (0) to The World (XXI), with traditional names and numbers. There are no Minor Arcana in this deck. Each reading draws three of the 22 cards for a past, present and future spread, and you can add up to two more.

Do the pastel illustrations in Misty Bloom change the meanings compared with Rider–Waite–Smith?

No. Misty Bloom only changes how the cards look, and its scenes stay close to the classic Rider–Waite–Smith deck. Zorynthia's AI interprets every card by its traditional meaning and does not see the artwork. Death painted among flowers in Misty Bloom means what Death means in any deck: an ending, and a move into what comes next.

How does Misty Bloom handle hard cards like Death and The Tower?

Misty Bloom softens them visually. Death is still a skeleton in armor on a white horse, but he rides through a blooming meadow while a girl kneels and a boy holds a bouquet. The Tower becomes a fairy-tale castle on a cliff, struck by lightning under violet clouds as its crown topples.
